Why (I feel as if) I know everything there is to know about Hepatitis A

The reason that you should get a noticeboard for your school is the same reason that (I feel as if) I know everything there is to know about Hepatitis A

At my local doctor’s surgery there is a notice which says “Please switch off your phone!”, so when I am waiting to see the doctor, keeping my brain occupied can be something of a challenge. In hindsight, I should probably bring a book along with me, but each time I forget.

This aside, it doesn’t take long for my eyes to start wandering around the waiting room and before I know it I’m reading anything and everything that my vision will allow – from posters about the risks of contracting an illness abroad, to the surgery’s ‘out-of-hours’ policy.

The thing is, the notices in the surgery’s waiting room never change, so for the past ten years (at least) I have been reading the exact same poster about Hepatitis A.

Long story short, when one waits, one reads. Which is precisely why you should get a noticeboard for your school – because parents will read anything and everything in their sight while waiting to pick their child up from school – making it a highly effective school-to-parent communication system.

Indeed, if your school is thinking about buying a (new) noticeboard, Greenbarnes has a range of styles which you can see on our website. Alternatively, please do call us on 01280 701093 and we’ll be pleased to discuss our boards, send you a brochure, and give any advice and guidance that you may require.
